SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wired and WirelessBest wireless gaming headset

Best Gaming Headphones In India (Wired/Wireless) - Jan 2024 | Geekman (1)

The first headphone on our list is SteelSeries Arctics Pro Wired & Wireless headphones. The Artics Pro is almost identical to the previous Artics, but the real changes are what is inside.

Speaking about the design, both headphones come in a black body. The wired one comes with subtle RGB illumination and gives off a soft perimeter glow. Unlike the previous ones, the SteelSeries logo is no longer illuminated, so they look a little bit more tasteful this way.

The sound drivers on these headphones produce incredible sounds that are not like the overly harsh treble type but like a controlled spectrum with a nice loud sound. The important takeaway is that they sound fantastic for the games, whether competitive or casual. You can hear every little bit of detail to know exactly what is going on in your environment inside the game. You can also chat with your friends with a retractable mic on this headphone.

The SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless can simultaneously be used with a PC, console, and mobile device, making it one of the best gaming headsets for PCs and other platforms. They also have low non-Bluetooth wireless latency, making them suitable for competitive gaming.

The headphones offer a refined aluminum hinge, so they are stiff enough for rotation but don’t freely wobble around, and they can rest flat on the table. Comfort-wise, the ear cups are thick and pleasant to the touch, but the headband is non-expandable, which can be a major issue for many people.

You can customize the RGB illumination with a few color options. The headphones also provide physical controls such as a volume wheel and other playback controls. Inside the driver software, you can customize the audio and performance of your Arctis Pro, from EQ, mic sidetone, and more.

Logitech G Pro XWired & Wireless

Best Gaming Headphones In India (Wired/Wireless) - Jan 2024 | Geekman (5)

Logitech G pro-X is one the best gaming headset in Logitech’s G pro product lineup. After Logitech acquired Blue Mic, the pro x is the company’s first headphones made with Blue Mics.

Both wired and wireless headphones offer a clean and minimalist design with a matte black body, with the only real flashiness coming with the brushed nickel or brushed aluminum branding on the side of the ear cups. There are no buttons on the headset whatsoever. You do have the inline controls here on the cable.

Logitech has included a 50-millimeter Driver on this G pro series. The sound quality of these headphones, straight out of the box, is characterized by a natural flat curve. This results in a more accurate representation of the original audio, although the bass may not be as pronounced as some users may prefer. However, this can be adjusted through software.

In terms of build quality and flexibility, you can see it does expand to fit people with heads of all sizes. Everything is very comfortable with its lightweight design; ample padding is on the headband’s top. The leather ear cups feel soft with good clamping pressure. So, no pressure points make it very comfortable for long gaming sessions.

The headphones also provide 20 hours of battery backup depending upon your sound settings and take only a couple of hours to charge from zero fully.

The Logitech G Pro X microphone delivers average performance, with distorted and quieter speech for users with deep voices. However, the microphone compensates with a boost to upper mids and high frequencies, which enhances speech intelligibility.

You get additional cloth earcups and leather ones pre-installed on the headphones. You can customize the sound profile with the EQ settings available in Logitech’s software. If the flashy RGB lights are mandatory for you, then this may not be the headphone to choose.

ASUS ROG Delta S Animate

Best Gaming Headphones In India (Wired/Wireless) - Jan 2024 | Geekman (8)

ASUS is one of the top brands in the gaming market when it comes to premium gaming accessories. Asus is known for innovating its products, so it’s no different with ASUS ROG Delta S. The headphones feature a unique dot matrix display on the side, which has caught the attention of many people.

As mentioned above, the LED display, also called “AniMe Matrix displays,” is one of the highlight features of this headphone. You can choose the preset animations and upload your text or images to be displayed on the side. With this LED display, you’ll forget about RGBs. To control the display, you also get some physical buttons on headphones.

The Animate headset has a mid-forward sound profile with neutral tilt and strong mid-range presence. Vocals have exceptional clarity and authority in the mix. This results in excellent clarity with distinct layers of sound that are easy to distinguish, even during intense gaming moments. It makes it easier to pick out sound sources, such as game enemies, for an immersive experience.

The microphone on the headset is clear enough for chatting but has a compressed and nasally sound. However, AI Noise Cancellation effectively reduces background noise and keyboard sounds with the lowest setting.

Build quality-wise, they are pretty solid and don’t produce a crease sound when you flex them. You can rest them flat, and then in terms of the cups, they include soft and Mushy protein leather earcups. The cups create compression but go back to their original shape, ensuring comfort during extended usage hours.

The back of the headphones consists of little controls, with a little volume rocker that can also mute the microphone. But the inline controls would’ve been better since they give easy control access. The headphones software offers a lot of customization, including EQ settings, Animate display controls, and many more.

SteelSeries Arctis 7 Wireless

Best Gaming Headphones In India (Wired/Wireless) - Jan 2024 | Geekman (10)

The SteelSeries Arctics 7 is our next choice on the list of best gaming headphones. In the arena of wireless gaming headphones, the SteelSeries Arctics 7 wireless might be one of the most popular ones. The Arctics 7, from a feature standpoint, is one of the best wireless headsets around this price point.

The 3D surround of Arctics 7 creates a realistic 3D audio environment in the game, making the gameplay more immersive. The headphones accurately reproduce most sounds with an emphasis on mid-range and a slightly lower bass output than typical gaming headsets, allowing for a clear pick-up of subtler sounds in games.

The headphone also has a very good signal in the wireless department, so it’s nice if you like to listen to a music podcast or whatever else while being mobile around your house. This makes it one of the best gaming headphones for gaming and music.

It’s good to see no RGBs on this one cause this will help to preserve the battery. Overall, the headphones’ structure is good, with a pleasant rubber coating on the plastic ear cups. The top headband is metal, unlike the plastic construction on all other arctics pairs. There’s no creaking while you swivel the headphones, so that’s awesome. You cannot extend the headphones, but the headband stretches based on your head size, but the extension was an ideal option.

The retractable microphone is clear and detailed, but not as much as SteelSeries has marketed these headphones to be. On a full charge, the battery can last up to 20 hours. You have to use a micro-USB cable to charge it, which was fine five years ago when it launched, but now it might be slow for many people.

The headset has many controls, starting with the power button and then a dial for a chat mix that lets you balance your voice comms or in-game volume. With SteelSeries software, you can also customize the audio profile and controls. Overall, the headphones are a solid premium option in the Indian gaming market.

Logitech G733

Best Gaming Headphones In India (Wired/Wireless) - Jan 2024 | Geekman (13)

Over the years, Logitech has put out some fabulous headphones featuring more colorful plastic designs. The G733 is no different Since Logitech has gone all out in the aesthetic department of this headphone, too.

In terms of design, the white and grey color scheme and the neon RGB lines in these headphones give off a futuristic vibe. It’s primarily matte white, but it also has some gloss accents. Also, there is a black and blue color variant of this headphone. The suspension head strap matches the neon RGB colors and is also removable.

The Exterior is made up of plastic but feels nice and sturdy, with a rubberized finish in some places. The headband has plenty of flex and never feels like it will snap. The air cushions are made of this grey fabric, which is great since the material doesn’t get as hot as the leather ones. These also have good memory foam padding, making them perfect for long gaming sessions.

When it comes to sound quality, it doesn’t have what you’d call a unique sound stage. Some headphones have heavy bass or great clarity. But overall, the G733 sounds very Balanced. The 7.1 surround sound creates a perfect audio environment; you can EQ them in the software to your liking. They could be louder.

The detachable mic on these headphones is decent, and you can customize the EQ through the software to make the mic sound better. In terms of battery life, Logitech claimed 28 hours on a single charge with the LEDs turned off, which is quite accurate.

Thanks to the dedicated controls at the back of the headset, you can easily adjust the volume or mute yourself without any hassle. This way, you can control your audio output without interrupting the flow of your activities. Overall, the headphones exceed in the design and do lack in the audio department.

Razer BlackShark V2 Pro Wireless and Wired

Best Gaming Headphones In India (Wired/Wireless) - Jan 2024 | Geekman (16)

The black shark v2 pro aims to be a premium gaming headset that is made to compete with the big boys in the gaming headset space. It looks like noise-canceling headphones, but does it perform like a real esports gaming headset?

The BlackShark V2 pro features an all-black design with no gamer aesthetics whatsoever. You do get a green accent in the cables in the wired one. The headset is constructed of mostly black plastic with a y-shaped wire connecting the earcups to the headband. The memory foam padding covers the headband’s underside, and the ear cups are wrapped in a breathable fabric to reduce heat. Its wired counterpart, the V2 X, also follows a similar pattern.

Both Razer black shark v2 Pro & V2 X feature 50-millimeter titanium drivers that deliver fantastic sound quality. The audio output is very powerful, and the bass response is excellent, with plenty of clarity. In-game sound and left-right panning were outstanding, enhancing the gaming experience. These are good for music, too, thanks to the 9.9-millimeter response range (for the wireless)

Speaking of mic, both headphones feature a 9.9 millimeter hyper clear super-cardioid microphone that produces clear sound with no fuzziness and distortion. It also comes with a sizeable windscreen to further reduce any ambient noise.

The battery can last up to 24 hours in the V2 pro, depending upon your volume settings. To charge the headphones, you get a USB-C charging port.

The BlackShark V2 pro & X features some controls on the left ear cup, including a volume knob, two 3.5-millimeter cable jacks for wired connection(for wireless), a mute microphone button, and a power button. You can tweak your audio using EQ settings and feature multiple presets through Razer’s companion synapse software.

Overall, the headphones are great, and the wireless ones are great for music. But if you want to save some money, you can go with the wired one.

HyperX Cloud Alpha

Best Gaming Headphones In India (Wired/Wireless) - Jan 2024 | Geekman (20)

HyperX is known for its headphones in the gaming scene, and their particular Cloud series headphones are the most popular. The series has headphones ranging from budget to mid-range segment, and with HyperX Cloud Alpha, they’ve touched the midrange one.

The HyperX Cloud Alpha headphones have excellent sound isolation and good sound quality. The audio produced is clearer and more detailed since the frequency response is neutral without much alteration to the original signal. The lack of interference and masking allows small game details to be heard, and the speaker elements’ performance enhances the overall experience. It provides a studio-like sound experience.

The Cloud Alpha features Hyperx’s iconic red and black color scheme design with matte finishing. It has deep, soft leatherette ear pads for great isolation comfort and a convenient remote with a mute microphone switch and volume wheel. The build quality is also solid and durable, with metal arms and a plastic bracket that holds the arm in place. The headset creates a good seal against the head for reduced jostling and improved noise isolation.

The headphone’s detachable microphone is tailored to voice chat and slightly emphasizes notes that enhance speech understanding, making its audio output clearer. They offer excellent noise isolation through which all the background sounds, even the loud ones, are muffled. This results in you having an uninterrupted gaming session.

You can find in-line control on these headphones, making accessing volume control and mic muting options more convenient. Overall, the Hyperx Cloud Alpha is one of the best headphones for pc, consoles, and even smartphones and comes at an affordable price range.

Corsair HS80 RGB

Best Gaming Headphones In India (Wired/Wireless) - Jan 2024 | Geekman (22)

If you’re searching for the best headphones in the Indian market, then the brand you shouldn’t ignore is Corsair. The Corsair HS80 is perfect for audiophiles looking for a gaming headphone that also performs well in other segments.

The HS80 RGB USB supports both stereo and Dolby Surround sound. It has large 50mm neodymium drivers that deliver clear and balanced audio, whether it’s for gaming, watching movies, or listening to music. With Dolby Surround enabled positional audio cues in games are well-represented, while the audio in movies and TV shows is immersive.

This headphone has one of the best gaming headset mics. The microphone has superb sound clarity and does a great job of picking up the voice while canceling out the background environment noise.

In terms of design, the headphones feature a Matte black with subtle gamer elements, such as light-up Corsair logos on each earcup and a red LED ring on the microphone. The headphone is made up of thick plastic and machined aluminum, with a cloth-covered memory foam earcup that makes the headphones comfortable for long gaming sessions. It can swivel up to 90 degrees, making it easy to adjust and transport.

You can configure the RGB colors, adjust EQ settings, and enable Dolby to surround sound through Corsair’s ICUE software. The software also reprograms the Mute button to perform different functions, such as playing/pausing in Spotify or entering keyboard/mouse macros.

The left earcup has a non-removable microphone, a volume dial, and a mute button, which is reprogrammable. The HS80 RGB USB is slightly heavier than its HS80 Wireless counterpart (despite lacking a battery), thanks to the 71-inch long non-removable USB-A cord. This is the only cable option, so the headphones are limited to only pc.

Overall if you’re looking for a gaming headphone that performs well on gaming and the other sound spectrum like music and media, then you should check this out.

Razer Barracuda X WirelessBest multi-use wireless gaming headsets

Best Gaming Headphones In India (Wired/Wireless) - Jan 2024 | Geekman (24)

Razer is again on the list with a second wireless headset, Razer Barracuda X.

The Barracuda X is affordable for wireless gaming headphones and comes relatively cheaper than most other headphones on this list.

The Barracuda X has a sleek, minimal look with a matte black finish. It is made primarily of plastic, making it lightweight, but the build is flexible. The memory foam ear pads and a leatherette headband make it comfortable for gaming. The controls are on the left ear cup, including a mute mic button, volume dial, power button, 3.5-millimeter headphone jack, and a USB-C port for charging.

The 40-millimeter drivers in the Barracuda X make the bass more pronounced than that one in the Razer Black Shark. It outputs a solid sound with a punch that doesn’t get muddy or distorted, even at high volumes. The sound clarity is solid, and the ear cups create a natural clamp that blocks out ambient noise, which helps to create a more immersive gaming experience. Overall, it is a good choice for gamers who want a wireless gaming headset with a balanced sound profile.

Speaking about battery, On paper, the battery is claimed to last up to 20 hours, but on some user’s tests, the battery lasted up to nearly 23 to 24 hours, which is fantastic battery life.

The Razer Barracuda X mic performs very well, and voices come through very clearly. The detachable boom mic quiets the surrounding noises and maintains sound clarity. The headphones can be connected through a USB-C dongle, and a 3.55mm cable is also available, which you can join the headset and use it wired.

The headphone has no lighting or glowing Razer Branding, which may bug some RGB lovers. But overall, the wireless headphone is great for sound and battery.

Logitech G435Best Budget Wireless gaming headphones

Best Gaming Headphones In India (Wired/Wireless) - Jan 2024 | Geekman (26)

The Logitech G435 is a new entry into the budget space of headphones. It is a wireless headset that connects to a PC, PlayStation, and phone with Bluetooth and Lightspeed technology.

The headset is lightweight at 165 grams and comes in various colors such as purple, pink, blue, off-white, black, and neon. As for comfort, The padding on the headphones is good, with a slow-to-squish back that feels like memory foam, but there is no padding at the top, and the ears may come into contact with plastic if the padding is insufficient. The headphones’ structure feels solid, but if you try to tweak and twist it, the headphones feel flimsy.

In terms of sound quality, the Logitech G435 is competent but could be more impressive. The G435 is also an extremely quiet headset; finding the right volume can be challenging. The headset is portable due to its Bluetooth compatibility and small size, but the lack of bass and flat soundscape makes it less ideal for music listening. But considering the low price, the headphone works just fine for headphone.

The G435 features two embedded beamforming microphones, simulating a boom microphone experience, with good results compared to most embedded headphone microphones. The headset supports 18 hours of battery life, which is less than the Barracuda X we’ve discussed above, and this one uses a Type-C port for charging.

Speaking about compatibility, it can connect with multiple devices via a USB dongle and Bluetooth connectivity. However, it lacks features compared to other Logitech headsets and is not compatible with Logitech G Hub software for PC, meaning you can’t adjust sound settings. The headset has only a few features, including adjusting the mic sidetone and volume through button combinations.

The headphone is not targeted toward a larger audience, but anyone who wants a Logitech headset at a budget price can opt for this one.

Razer Opus X WirelessWireless gaming headphones with ANC

Best Gaming Headphones In India (Wired/Wireless) - Jan 2024 | Geekman (29)

Within one year of the Razer Opus’ launch, Razer released the Opus X, its successor.

The new headphones take the ergonomic design of the older, more expensive Opus and simplify the headphones while coming in at a more affordable price point.

Looking at the design, the subtle shape of the headphones and the small headband doesn’t scream gamer like many of Razer’s other products. There are no RGB lights, but an excellent combination of smooth and hard lines and edges makes for a modern design.

Razer has kept the headphones light, which helps to make them more comfortable.

There’s quite a bit of padding on the inside of the ear cup, but sometimes, the ears can still press against the drivers since the cushions are not the deepest. The headband can expand, and the earcups will rotate 90 degrees to lay flat against your neck.

The Opus X headphones feature 40mm drivers, producing balanced and powerful sounds with clear mids and good stereo separation. The sound stage could be more impressive, but the sound quality is still clear and well-separated, making it easy to distinguish between different sounds in the game. The headphones are capable of reaching high volumes, too.

The Opus X can be connected via Bluetooth 5.0 and has two in-built microphones, which sound decent. Even in the little noise environment, the sound becomes unclear and distorted. The headphones have a latency of 60, which is acceptable if you’re trying to game competitively on these.

All the controls are located on the right ear cup, such as the volume, multi-function, and power buttons, which can also toggle between ANC modes. The Opus X doesn’t have any software for laptops and PC, so don’t expect a wide range of customization from this one. It has a mobile app with basic controls and audio-tuning EQ settings.

If you are looking for something other than gamer aesthetics and want headphones that can do more than gaming, look out for Razer Opus X.

HyperX Cloud Stinger 2Best budget wired gaming headphones

Best Gaming Headphones In India (Wired/Wireless) - Jan 2024 | Geekman (33)

The HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 is the new addition to HyperX’s Cloud Stinger headphones. The Cloud Stinger series is targeted at the budget segment, and for the price, the headphones are pretty good in terms of overall quality.

HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 Review

The HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 houses a 50mm driver, which produces detailed sounds. The sounds are natural and crispy across any game you choose, from fps and racing to a story game or watching videos. The highs are prominent, and the bass is decent with a punch, so you can easily detect an enemy’s movement with these sound factors.

The design of these headphones is very subtle, with a black design and a non-removable microphone. The headphone has a 3.5mm jack, so connectivity should not be an issue. The headphone has a boom mic that captures voice well compared to other headphones in this range.

Despite the missing RGB lights, other aspects of these headphones are not compromised. The HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 has an all-plastic build in which the earcups & headbands consist of pleather material, providing users with a comfortable fit. Also, the earcups are interchangeable. A sturdy hinge on the headphones can rotate up to 90 degrees to adjust for your preference.

Regarding controls, the Cloud Stinger 2 has a scroll wheel on the right ear cup, allowing you to adjust the volume, but the mic muting button is absent. The Cloud Stinger 2 headset comes with an access code for DTS Headphone:X Spatial Audio, providing spatial audio for Windows applications and games for an enhanced gaming experience.

The HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 is the best option for someone on a budget since it is the cheapest headphones on the list.
