At the stage where I need to talk to the Cloaked man and he is asking me questions about Claudete, anyone know the answers? I cant find the info in her journal and I cant remember stuff like "what Item was her downfall" and so on.
Any help?

The point is, how well do YOU remember. It doesn't hurt you to get it wrong, but like all choices, it does change the story a bit. Sorry, but not giving you the answer :-)

As you had the cut-scenes playing about why the tower is haunted, all this was revealed.
Don't worry though because there is no "wrong" answer. By giving the "correct" answers you shorten the quest slightly and change the way it progresses....But in the end you'll solve the mystery of Baelbourne Rock regardless of your choices.

Guys, I've done the quest in the beta about 15 times and never paid attention, I just missed the crucial info this time and was hoping to actually see the other side of the quest.
I'll post it up when I get it but if someone knows plz post

I used Fear and I think Love for the last answer and got responses for both that seemed to be okay and not block or delay me in any way. The dialog DID have a tone like, "Huh, I didn't think of it like that, but yeh, I can see how---" so Revenge is probably the "proper" answer but as noted, giving the "wrong" one doesn't break the mission.
I love and hate missions like these. I hate them because I want to see what the OTHER choices cause to happen but I don't want to actually get locked into the "wrong" choice (the one I would not normally make).... especially if the choices we make have longer-range implications.
Like, there's a mission where you can tell a ghost to go to Aetherius or stay around and check out the world... if I tell him to stick around, maybe I'll run into him again later... but perhaps this character would advise the spirit to pass on --- no further interactions, then? Who knows, you can only make the choice ONCE (per character anyway).
Love it and hate it.

Is anyone else having an issue finishing this quest on Xbox One? After I find the book to summon spirits in the Mages' Guild, the objective changes to TALK TO THE CLOAKED MAN. But as soon as I step a couple of feet outside the Guild, the screen immediately says FAILED: TALK TO THE CLOAKED MAN and changes back to finding the book. I've tried over and over again, but I can't get past this. Reported the issue via the help menu, but I just got an auto response directing me to the forums. =/
Any suggestions?

The cloaked man IS the next part of that mission. talking to him will initiate the next step.

The cloaked man is the man in the mages guild who comments on what rubbish the book is just after you read it.
